Our client a local employer of choice with a national and international presence are looking for a forward thinking Sales & Customer Support Executive to join and strengthen their existing team
Reporting to the Sales Team Leader & UK Sales Manager, the main purpose of your role is to help support customers selling and promoting the companies products & the ongoing Account management for domestic and international customer base
The core responsibilities are
*
high performance business development - developing, managing and retaining accounts within specific geographical and industries.
*
follow sales cycle from introduction to implementation
*
generating and pro-actively converting quotations and tenders
*
offering commercial and technical support to existing customers.
*
helping the company achieve acceptable year-on-year growth.
*
re-defining the way, we handle customer enquiries.
These will be achieved through-
*
effectively communicating via email, telephone and in person
*
an in-depth knowledge of accounts and industry developments
*
maintaining and developing strong relationships with new and existing accounts
*
targeting and develop new business opportunities
*
maintaining exceptional time management
*
working efficiently and effectively always
*
tracking and monitoring major projects
*
achieving a good understanding of product knowledge
*
an active participation in department development
Personal Skills
*
prioritising personal workloads, identifying and doing the right thing first
*
highly self-motivated with an exceptional use of own initiative
*
excellence is the only acceptable benchmark
*
have excellent communication skills
*
have a customer orientated approach with excellent organisational skills
*
be well presented, polite, tactful and friendly
*
be numerate and good at planning
You will have
*
Previous and proven experience in a similar role
*
Commercial/Technical background and relevant experience in our key markets
*
Competent to produce reports/presentations and interpreting financial information
*
Good business writing skills
*
Professional telephone manner
*
Fluent in standard Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
*
Result Driven to hit and exceed all company targets
