We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our Hospitality and Catering team.

The Restaurant Manager will manage the operation of The View Restaurant, a sixty cover restaurant with separate professional development suites, working in conjunction with the College students and Hospitality staff within the department.

This role includes responsibility for maintaining operating procedures and standards in line with College Policies. There will be training and assessment as required to ensure learners achieve industrial standard and competencies. This will directly link to learners’ qualifications and the West Kent College mission statement.

You will need to hold the following qualifications

• To hold a Level 3 (or equivalent) Supervisory Management, Food
and Beverage Service or similar
• Registered Personal Licensee Certificate holder, or willing to
undergo training and development Teaching or training experience in relevant subject. To hold
appropriate accreditation in Food Safety Qualified A1 or equivalent assessor qualification
• Level 2 English and Maths

You will need to hold previous experience of working in the food and beverage sector and experience of
managing front of house and customer services in a range of commercial situations. You would need good
knowledge and understanding of course structures, learning approaches and assessment.
