Senior Sales Manager (UK/EU)

My client is a successful manufacturing company providing an innovative range of products and solutions to global customers. As experts in their field, my client has an excellent track record for developing solutions and creating a wealth of high performance products.
A superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced, dynamic and highly credible Senior Sales Manager to join the Senior Management Team on the next stage of this successful journey.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be expected to provide strategic sales direction for the achievement of profitable revenue generation for the business. A charismatic and energetic leader, they will motivate and manage sales in an international market to achieve short, medium and long term sales goals in line with the growth aspirations of the business.
Key accountabilities will include:-
* Delivering year on year sales growth in line with agreed budgets and strategy
* Maximising growth opportunities with existing customers
* Closely monitoring and driving the completion of new business projects
* Personally managing key strategic customer accounts to ensure retention of contracts
* Delivering business development plans which clearly identify and value new proposed markets
* Delivering strategic sales and marketing plans by territory and product grouping
* Developing internal systems to ensure that sales performance is constantly monitored, communicated and action based on developing information
* Producing a professional behavioural model of customer contact and service to achieve world class customer service
The successful individual will be experienced within a manufacturing environment and requires an individual with the passion and drive to make a difference in an evolving business. Whilst not essential those that have fluency in Italian or Spanish language would be highly desirable
This is a significant position within the Company and the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with Senior Managers to ensure that there is commercial harmonisation, as well as providing commercial direction, advice and guidance
