Brand Belief is the UK market leader in multi-brand, multi-discipline grocery promotions and we run various food & drink campaigns in for leading brands and the major supermarkets.

An important part of our campaigns are our food & drink sampling RoadShows which visit leading supermarkets around the UK and which consist of a 3.5t LWB van & 5.5mt triple axel promotional trailer.

These vehicles carry all sampling and promotional materials for the RoadShow and open-out to form a highly visual and impactful centre-piece at each supermarket car-park visit.

Our Rigger/Drivers are a key part of the RoadShow activity and are responsible for each van & trailer rig and for its maintenance, stocking, safe transit and set-up of the RoadShow at each supermarket visit.

The role means that you’ll be working directly alongside our promotional Brand Believers who run the promotional operational side of the RoadShow visits by engaging with and sampling food & drink samples to supermarket customers.

The position is full time and involves travel across the UK and overnight hotel stays + daily subsistence allowance and whilst challenging, is also highly enjoyable and lots of fun, with a real sense of camaraderie!

As this is a key role you’ll need some key skills to qualify;
• A real ‘hands-on/can-do’ attitude, well organised, friendly but assertive when necessary you’ll be able to work on your own initiative, as well as being a key part of the RoadShow team
• Able to load and control sampling stock for each series of weekly visits from our Ashford warehouse
• ‘Practical & handy’, able to do basic mechanical, electrical and DIY maintenance on our sampling vehicles if and when required.
• Able to drive a 3.5 GVW LWB van and be able to tow a 5.5mt trailer. Due to insurance limitations ideally you’ll have a C1+E licence and must be over 25. Naturally you’ll have no major endorsements.
• Willing to travel across the UK and stay away in hotels, with some weekend working.
• Able to professionally set up and take-down the RoadShow rig at each visit and to claim ‘ownership’ of the equipment and set-up presentation.
• As this is an active job, you’ll need to be presentable, fit & active, enthusiastic and personable and be able to fit in well with our young team of Brand Believers.
• Additionally, have an interest in photography and be able to take photographs and/or video of the RoadShow activity.
• Be available to start early February.

You’ll receive full support and will be joining a dynamic, fast-growing company with a fun, friendly and ‘hard-working’ team. So you’ll need to be a real team-player, with a fun and ‘worker not a whinger’ attitude you must be able to communicate well and ideally be computer literate. Retail/food & drink logistics experience preferred but not essential.
