An excellent opportunity to join a market leading insurance group as a Non Functional Test Manager. The role will involve the development of the Non-functional testing strategy and plans and manage delivery of all aspects of Non-functional testing ensure the delivery of high quality changes to applications and infrastructure.
Key tasks will include:
- Define the Non-functional & Operational Acceptance Testing Strategy, ensuring that it aligned with Technology strategies, architectures, plans and appetite for risk. Understand how these impact the demand for Non-functional Testing Services.
- Design, document, implement and continuously improve Non-functional Testing standards, processes, and tools to support the Technology operating model and different delivery methods.
- Determine and maintain the current and future Non-functional Testing operating model and the roadmap for transition from current state to future state taking account of dependencies and needs within and across the organisations functions and business lines. Monitor and report progress against the roadmap.
- Provide education, advice and guidance to stakeholders and suppliers to drive adoption and adherence to Non-functional Testing processes, standards and tools.
Suitable candidates will have experience of working as a Test Manager within an enterprise scale environment and proven experience of non functional testing is essential. This will include an early career within performance and operational acceptance testing using tools such as LoadRunner progressing to a current position of a Test Manager within an end user enterprise environment. A key part of this role will include third party vendor management and working with supplies to define and implement the testing strategy. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills are essential to this role.
