We have an exciting new opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to work as part of the Pre-School team, to provide safe, high quality education.
The role will be to provide a programme of activities suitable to the age range of the children attending the Pre-School, in conjunction with other staff. You will help set-up and tidy the Pre-School room for the daily programme, teach children individually or as a group, offering the appropriate level of support and stimulation and report any concerns to the Pre-School Manager, maintaining confidentiality at all times. Other tasks include preparing snacks and cleaning areas that the children have used.
The ideal candidate need to be willing to train for, an appropriate level 3 qualification and will already hold Level 2 qualifications in numeracy and literacy. They should also be prepared to undertake training in special educational needs: a First Aid qualification specific to treating children is desirable.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) and to provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
