We are looking to recruit a talented, creative and self-motivated Commercial Florist Manager to join and develop our existing busy Broadview Florist team. The role will involve carrying out internal and external commercial work producing floral arrangements, providing work experience for Hadlow College students and, in conjunction with the marketing department, promoting commercial Floristry within the community and with businesses.

The role will involve a high level of face to face contact with colleagues and customers as well as students, so excellent communication skills are a must. A background in retail would also be an advantage. Candidates will need to be flexible at peak periods e.g. Valentine’s Day, Mothers’ Day, as there will be a need to work additional hours.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Level 3 City and Guilds Diploma in Floristry qualification and ideally have achieved a level 4 (HDF) or level 5 (MDPF) floristry qualification. Driving is an essential part of the role, so a full driving licence is required.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) and to provide proof of their right to work in the UK.

This is a part time permanent position working 3 days per week (including Saturdays). The College offers many good employment benefits including 30 days annual leave, pro rata (excluding bank holidays), contributory pension scheme, health cash plan and free parking.
