We are currently recruiting for an experienced Trade Counter Supervisor for an established International Company who provide specialist construction materials to a wide range of customers.
As a Trade Counter Supervisor you will be based in Sittingbourne and work closely with the Branch Manager and Operations Team.
Key responsibilities will include;
* Provide excellent customer service both over the telephone and face to face over the trade counter.
* Achieve set targets through pricing policies.
* Liaise with the Warehouse Manager daily in order to maximise the product stored in the trade shop.
* Assist with market development and building customer relationships.
* Work on the trade counter as required.
* Maximise sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
Experience required:
* A good knowledge of the trade and products.
* Previous supervisory experience.
* Track record of achieving targets.
* Previous experience in cash handing and sales is desirable.
* Personable, outgoing, a team player and able to lead from the front.
* Strong IT skills and a good attention to detail.
