An exceptional opportunity has arisen with one of our most respected and established Clients within their Microbiology and Quality Assurance team.
Working Monday to Friday (8am to 4pm) - Immediate start! Permanent Position!
The primary purpose of this role is to perform Microbiological testing of In- Process, Water and Finished Product samples and to perform environmental monitoring where you will be working within a clean-room environment.
All work will be carried out to meet statutory, regulatory and customer requirements whilst underpinning Good Laboratory Practice and working to company operating procedures.
Essential functions and duties will include:
* Identification of microorganisms
* Bioburden testing of in process, water and raw material samples
* Processing of Biological Indicators
* Environmental monitoring
* Participation of Out of Spec investigations
* Training clean-room operatives in the use of aseptic techniques
To be considered towards this opportunity, the ideal candidate should possess experience in:
* Recording results as per cGMP standards
* Competency in using Aseptic techniques
* Microbiological identification
* IT literate with proficiency in all Microsoft Applications
Please note that due to the nature of the job function, you will be required (on occasion) to lift up to 20Kg and be expected stand for long periods when testing products.
