Deputy Home Manager - Residential / Day Care

Connect2staff are excited to be recruiting for a Deputy Home Manager for a fantastic Charity who offer residential and respite services in Kent.

We are looking for a deputy manager with outstanding people skills and clinical skills for a home in Deal, Kent which provides respite care, day care and residential care for people with profound disabilities.

Responsibilities will include:
*Providing day to day support to the Home Manager
*Manage, supervise and develop all reporting staff to agreed standards
*Ensure service delivery achieves the highest standards and complies with CQC requirements
*Manage the safeguarding of Service Users
*Monitor and audit individual programs of care
*Ensure residents, relatives and friends are welcomed to the home and lead in forming long term, constructive relationships
*Support the Home Manager in Budgets, Policies and Procedures
*Provide on-call advice and attendance when required
*Undertake nursing duties/shifts as and when required


The right candidate will have the following:

*Registered Nurse
*Understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding policies
*Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities
*Experience of managing a team
*Able to plan and manage your own time effectively
*Excellent interpersonal skills along with being a team player and effective communicator
