As a Stock Analyst you will be responsible for all forecast activities associated with customers and products at our client. This role creates and manages the demand for their categories, incorporating statistics and business intelligence and other demand signals to improve service for the customers of the demand plan.

Your key responsibilities as a Stock Analyst would be:



* Creating and maintaining system generated forecasts for a defined area of responsibility to drive continuous improvement to company set targets



* Carrying out analysis of sales history, promotional, seasonal and forthcoming activities in order to generate an optimal demand signal



* Manage a daily / weekly / monthly forecasting process at both detail and aggregated level, ensuring the statistical forecast is managed to the correct model



* Collaborative demand planning with other departments such as Marketing, Customer Supply Chain and Product Supply



* Communicating to supply chain colleagues, suppliers to advise changes to trends and better understand the impacts and find improvements
* Supporting projects in Demand Planning and around the business to support the improvement process



Experience required:

* Supply Chain/Stock Level Analysis/Demand Planning
* Experience of using an ERP system, preferably SAP, APO DP
* Microsoft skills including Intermediate Excel
* High numeracy skills, analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to influence at all levels
* Strong leadership skills with a high degree of commercial acumen
