Manufacturing Scientist Contractor

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company based in Sandwich, is currently looking to recruit a Manufacturing Scientist Contractor to join the manufacturing operations group on drug candidate development projects under the supervision of the Team Leader

The successful applicant will be responsible for producing high quality results coupled with the ability to work within a GMP environment

This is an 8.30am-5.30pm Monday-Friday position, paying a rate of £10 per hour.


Duties & Responsibilities:

* Assist in production of development and clinical batches
* Perform all processes of drug product manufacture including blending, filling and assembly
* Adherence to GMP regulations/guidance
* Attention to detail, ensure any issues are raised to the appropriate level within defines timelines
* Organisational and planning skills and the ability to cooperate with others in a team environment will be critical to success
* Assist in the review and creation of operation documents by providing input to the technical composition of the document

To be the successful Manufacturing Scientist Contractor it is essential that you possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal and experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.


Due to the nature of the role it is also essential that you have a thorough understanding of formulation relating to drug product development as well as practical experience of inhaled drug product development.
