Validation Engineer
We are currently looking to recruit a Validation Engineer ideally with experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing to come and join us on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of our technical engineering group. Ideally we are looking for candidates that have at least 2 year’s experience working as a validation engineer preferably within a pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation but we would also consider candidate with experience of carrying out validation within a medical devices business.
Main Purpose of the Job
• Development of detailed design specifications for new or modified automated process control (APC)/ equipment / facilities / utilities to satisfy user requirements.
• Generate and execute Design, Installation and Operational Qualification protocols and reports in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
• Provide input to the project plans detailing all validation activities and timings.
• Support user groups through the development of operating and training procedures associated with new or modified equipment.
• Support internal and external regulatory inspections where required with respect to validation of APC, equipment, facilities and utilities.
• Investigate and make recommendations for Engineering improvements and solutions to provide for continuous improvement.
Skills / Competencies required
Knowledge: Broad engineering experience and validation of pharmaceutical equipment, facilities and utilities and control systems, project management, cGMP, MHRA / FDA regulatory requirements.
Experience: Wide ranging validation and technical engineering experience, preferably in both pharmaceutical / chemical manufacturing and packaging operations.
