Due to an ever-growing work pipeline, an exciting opportunity has become available for a talented and hard-working Assistant Interior Designer to join our team.

Main Tasks of Job:

o To provide assistance in the creation of preliminary plans and design concepts
o Assist in analyzing design objectives in accordance with clients’ needs
o Provide input in creation of design statements
o Perform market research work in a bid to understand trends and likes of customers
o Order samples from vendors and handle presentation creation activities
o Assist the interior designer with sample selections, hand sketches, drawing, schedules and boards.
o Confer with client to understand and document their interior design requirements
o Create specifications manuals such as room layouts, decorators specifications, etc
o Provide design, clerical and administrative support to the Interior designer
o Maintain knowledge of space planning, floor finishes and elevations

o Assist the Interior Designer with installations, co-ordinate deliveries and handle post installation follow up activities
o Check in receipt of merchandise and sign for packages
o Provide support in creating materials and Vectorworks plans for various projects
o Act as a bridge between the Interior Designer, Vendors and Contractors
o Assist in handling communication with clients through telephones, emails and official letters
o Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail with the ability to work on their own initiative.
