My client an established manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their team based in Rochester.

Within this role you will report into the Finance Manager and Group Finance Director and be responsible for preparing management accounting information for the business and the treasury function including managing foreign currency exposure and cash flow management.
Key responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Monthly profitability analysis
• Gross margin analysis
• Preparing board meeting slides/ information
• Ad-hoc business analysis projects as required
• Assisting in the management of £35m banking facility, including drawdown
• Cash flow forecasting and planning
• Maintaining second level relationship with banks
• Assisting Finance Director in managing foreign currency exposure and related reporting
• Book/swap use derivatives for foreign exchange

Experience, Skills and Knowledge required:
• Degree educated within a finance related subject
• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or studying towards
• Experience within a manufacturing based company would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the business
• Strong IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and experience in using ERP systems
