We are currently looking for an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join our well-established client in Westerham, Kent.
Salary on offer is up to £45,000 dependent on experience, 25 days’ holiday allowance plus 8 bank holidays, private healthcare, pension, critical illness and life assurance package available.

Our client deals with a variety of exciting projects including Education, Commercial Development, Advanced Manufacturing and Masterplanning.

Purpose of the Role:

Work directly with project leaders to develop, manage and control the design and delivery of detailed information. You will be required to deliver the production information flow to ensure that construction packages can be let in accordance with the Contractor’s programme.

Skills and Experience:

• 5 + years UK based experience.
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists is desirable.
• Good education, residential, commercial/office sector experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of current and up to date UK Building Regulations.
• Minimum HNC / HND qualification in Architectural Technology / Construction.
• Excellent presentation skills both verbally and drawing.
• Experience of working directly with the client, contractor and design team through design team meetings and workshops.
• Good working knowledge of Building Systems, Regulations and construction types.
• Good working knowledge of BIM is desirable.
• Develop, detail and co-ordinate package information.
• Ability to apply standards to resolve technical/design issues.
• Ability to develop and interpret design principles.
