Leeds Castle in Kent is one of the country’s leading heritage visitor attractions, welcoming over 550,000 visitors each year. As well as the 900 year old castle we have estate buildings, holiday cottages, bed and breakfast accommodation and modern domestic properties.
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance of all electrical installations across the estate.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the successful applicant will ensure that all plant is functioning correctly on a daily basis and take responsibility for planned preventative maintenance, statutory testing and regulation monitoring.
The person appointed must have experience of working as a electrical engineer/fitter and have worked on some commercial plant and systems and be able to demonstrate professional competence. To succeed in this role you will need to have a ‘can do’ attitude, good problem solving and fault finding skills. You will need to be a good communicator and have excellent administration and record keeping skills.
