We are looking for an experienced Web Developer who will be responsible for designing, building, testing and maintaining websites/web applications.



Working within the Digital Engagement/IT team and across the business the successful candidate will be a creative developer who is passionate about technology and will have the following characteristics:



* Very good interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
* Adaptable and able to pick up new technologies quickly
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Ability to work alone or as part of a team on multiple projects
* Complete work in realistic and timely manner
* Excellent IT skills
* Education to Degree level



Essential skills include:

* Essential experience includes working with HTML 5.0, CSS 3.0, JavaScript as well as frameworks such as AngularJS, Bootstrap - in either an agency or client environment (minimum of 2 years). Additionally the candidate should have extensive experience of working with a CMS ideally Umbraco

* Good appreciation of design, usability and interactivity is essential as well as experience of developing for multi-devices with responsive development principles

* Experience of incorporating data from back office systems through WebService integration (REST and SOAP) is very important



The following experience is not essential but would be a distinct advantage:

* Back End Development either .NET or Java
* Familiar with source code control - GIT, SVN
* Ability to utilise SQL technologies ideally Oracle
* App development experience
* Networking and security
* Graphics and web design
* Familiar with web development regulations
