Our client based near Gravesend is looking for an assistant packhouse manager for immediate start. Duties will include managing up to 100 staff in various departments and on various lines, liasing with the Transport and QC department, ensuring all orders are packed efficiently and accuratley at all times. Ensuring workers are working safely and adhering to company health and safety and hygiene policies will be another key role. Previous experience in fresh produce is essential, ideally at manager level however we believe a candidate who has supervisorary experience and is eager to progress and learn would be suitable. Experience using PR2/ Prophet would be highly advantageous as would a knowledge of Heatsealing/ Flow Pack/Wrap machines. Working hours can vary so ideally candidates will have their own transport or live local to the Gravesend area. Please contact Leon for an immediate interview
