We are currently looking to recruit an Interim Domiciliary Care Team Leader who shares our values and visions.

Location: Watling Court
Salary: TBC
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, including necessary weekend’s and Bank Holiday’s.

Key Responsibilities: to develop and lead a domiciliary person-centred care team that supports each individual service user to independently live the life of their choice. To ensure that the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with the Society’s domiciliary care policies and procedures and CQC Fundamental Standards.

Role Specific Requirements
QCF Diploma/NVQ Level 3 or 5 in Health & Social Care
Ability to prioritise tasks and delegate accordingly
Knowledge of the CQC Fundamental Standards.
Worked in a Domiciliary care setting as a team leader for a minimum of 2 years
Watling Court is The Abbeyfield Kent Society’s flagship extra care housing scheme, which combines living independently in their own apartment with support, care and companionship. It is spread over three-storeys, the boasts 56 spacious apartments for people aged 55 or over who have a care need assessed at a minimum of 3.5 hours per week.
