About the role: Wilmington Academy are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join the Academy and support our pupils and teaching staff alike. The successful applicant will be part of a team that is truly changing lives and positively transforming the local community. This is an exciting time to consider joining us so please take a close look at the role details and if you feel you have the necessary attitude, skills and experience then we would love to hear from you. This position is ideal for Graduates seeking to commence Teacher Training with us in September 2017, particularly in subjects such as Science, English, Maths and Humanities, as we can offer support from the beginning and assist you in submitting an application and provide you with first hand exposure.
What are we looking for in you?
Educated to at least Level 2 Maths & English
Previous experience of working/volunteering with children/young people
A commitment to motivate and inspire young people
Good ICT skills and practice
You will be committed to personal learning and development, and have a sincere commitment to sharing our long-term aims and drive for continuous improvement
