We have a job opening for a Personal Chauffeur / General Duties for our company Director on an 18 month contract. You will mainly be reporting directly to the Director at his residence in Hythe, Kent. This position will include undertaking general property maintenance, garden work, cleaning and other ad hoc duties during downtime periods when driving is not required.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
• Driving the CEO and his family as required and running other ad hoc errands as necessary.
• Maintaining the allocated car to a clean and professional standard.
• Conducting basic car maintenance as necessary.
• Observing due professional courtesy and maintaining a professional demeanour, including wearing smart attire when chauffeuring.
• Undertaking basic property maintenance, gardening, cleaning and other duties as required.
• In addition to the duties listed above, you will also be expected to undertake such additional or alternative duties as are reasonably consistent with your role and abilities.

To be eligible for this role the following skills, experience and qualifications are required:
• Clean full UK drivers licence at least 5 years old with no insurance claims in the last 5 years.
• Ability to report for duty on call at Hythe on short notice and available at all times.
• Ability to be very flexible with working hours, as you will need to work into the evenings and weekends.
• Excellent knowledge of Kent, M25 belt and surrounding areas.
• Good geographical knowledge of the local and national road network.
• Inspecting a vehicle for basic mechanical defects prior to departure.
• Very well presented, with excellent time keeping ensuring passengers always on time at destination and the ability to be highly confidential at all times.
• Good DIY skills and a positive can-do attitude to undertake any complex or menial task.
• Please note that the CEO is an avid enthusiast of classical music which you will need to find tolerable on longer journeys.

The ideal individual would be someone who lives in or around the Hythe, Ashford, Folkestone area, who has experience as a Chauffeur/driver combined with good general maintenance skills.

The salary package for the role is £25,000 per annum. The benefits include 4 weeks paid annual leave, a private company healthcare policy and a company pension scheme. The company car will be available to the successful candidate during their time away from work for all normal domestic and leisure purposes (excluding track days).
