Streetspace Group is an established local business experiencing sustained strong growth and we are currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting role that offers variety, a great working environment and opportunities within an innovative and fast growing company.
Candidates will ideally have worked within a purchasing environment or have a background in manufacturing though this is not essential as full training will be provided. The successful candidate should have an eagerness to learn and develop, a can do attitude and positive outlook to work
Strength of character and great communication skills are needed to liaise successfully with internal production teams and our engineering supply chain about lead times, costs, and associated issues. Working alongside our Lead Buyer this role will include the following:
*Processing purchase orders.
*Liaising with suppliers regarding delivery dates, negotiating where necessary to achieve production targets.
*Liaising with own transport and external logistics providers.
*Reviewing purchase costs and negotiating with suppliers where directed
*Monitoring and updating Excel based records including ISO internal and supplier audits)
*Undertake general admin duties and initiatives as requested.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm.
Holiday : 20 days + Bank Holidays.
