An exciting opportunity to take over the kitchen as the principal chef in the large Victorian kitchen at beautiful Oxon Hoath Country Estate Retreat. Ideally you would be skilled at creative vegetarian cooking to a high standard as well as catering for weddings, corporates and parties. Group sizes typically range from around 10-80 heads. We are a small team and sometimes you would work alone but mostly you would have an assistant as well as working closely with the Catering and Events manager and the Head Gardener who grows a lot of our organic produce in our Georgian Walled Garden.
Shifts vary according to the needs of the business and the season but would total around 230-250 meals per year with around 10-14 days off per month. A minimum of £22,000 pa is guaranteed plus pro-rata holiday pay. See our website to get a feel of the shift patterns. No breakfast duties required. Own transport and references are essential.
