We are currently recruiting for a Mechanic to work on a permanent basis for one of our clients on the Ashford outskirts.
Please note that due to the rurual location, own transport is essential.
The role will include:
* PDI, service and repair of vehicles
* Taking delivery of vehicles and spares
* Professional customer assistance
* Re-stock shelves ensuring good stock rotation and timely replenishment
* General admin support to the workshop department
* Support the training of junior team members
* Maintain company equipment eg; Fork Lift Trucks and lifting gear
* Making number plates and washing vehicles
The Ideal Candidate will have the below:
* Previous mechanics experience
* Good understanding and demonstration of Health and Safety
* The ability to work without supervision
* Basic computer skills
* Flexible working to ensure cover during opening hours
Working hours are -
Week 1-Monday to Friday 0830-1800
Week 2-Monday to Saturday 0830-1800 (Fridays off)
Full uniform is provided
