37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday
Based East or West Kent
£32,000 - £35,000 per annum dependant on experience

Crossroads Care Kent is a registered charity offering free regular short breaks and emergency support in the home for family carers, providing high quality replacement care and support to people of all ages and with any condition or illness. The aim of the service is to enable carers to have a life of their own, alongside their caring role.

The service is provided when it is most needed and enables carers to have some time to themselves knowing that their family member/friend is being well cared for. Our carer support workers are highly trained care staff with many years’ experience of supporting carers and have a genuine understanding of carer’s needs and those of the people they are caring for.

The role
Crossroads Care Kent are now recruiting a Contracts Manager. This is a new role within the charity and the candidate will be a passionate individual with drive and enthusiasm offering new ideas and a proactive approach. The main focus of the role is to develop and manage contract agreements, to update, monitor and report on results, develop and manage service KPIs, and provide regular feedback to the Management team.

Knowledge
Knowledge of preparation of funding proposals, including grants and service level agreements is required along with a good understanding of the health and social care operating environment and key current issues and opportunities.

Essential Experience
Proven experience of managing and developing KPIs, report writing and producing accurate analytical information, along with previous involvement in managing or reporting on public sector contracts is essential.

Skills
The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills in particular with using excel, good oral and written communication skills, commercial awareness and good all round business skills, robust analytical and report writing skills and meticulous attention to detail.

The role will be based at the Crossroads Care East or West Kent office dependant on the candidate however travel will be required to both offices, and a full driving licence and use of own transport is required.
