PTA UK has an exciting new job opportunity for a talented digital communicator!

We are seeking a Digital Communications Manager for maternity cover. This is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2018.

We can offer a salary of circa £30,000, depending on experience, plus attractive benefits package.

Working hours are 35 hours per week (9:00 – 17:00) although we may consider less than this to secure the right candidate.

This brilliant role is responsible for developing the organisation’s digital communication capabilities and implementing our digital strategy to support the charity’s strategic objectives and build our profile and relationships with all our audiences.

This requires an exceptional understanding of website management, social media, and email marketing and reporting packages as well as understanding how technical innovations and audience behaviour can be applied to enhance PTA UK’s digital presence. We already serve 14,000 PTA members, 4000 Twitter followers and support a 32,000 Facebook community. Can you help us achieve even more?

To be successful you will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload. You will have a basic knowledge of HTML strong analytical skills and experience of planning, briefing, testing and delivering web enhancements and integrations.

If you can also demonstrate great creative copywriting skills with a design-led approach and good public relations instincts then we want to hear from you.

You will be part of a lively Policy and Communications Team and will also be required to support more generally including with media relations, campaign delivery and stakeholder engagement.
