Fundraising Manager
This post is Maternity cover, Fixed Term Contract up to 12 months.
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week (Part time considered)
Hospice in the Weald strives to raise £7 million every year so that we can provide compassionate, individualised, holistic and supportive care for all patients with a terminal illness, their families and carers in a community of approximately 350,000 over an area of 400 sq. miles West Kent and Northern East Sussex. We are based in Pembury in a beautiful rural setting, close to historic Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent and are just 30 miles south of London.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to lead and manage within the fundraising department to maximise fundraising opportunities across Individual Giving income streams. You will help to develop and strengthen relationships with potential and existing supporters, manage and develop supporter journeys, and be responsible for acquisition and retention of supporters for the Hospice.
You will have experience of working in a busy fundraising or marketing environment, developing and implementing direct marketing campaigns, ensuring the effective management of a database system in order to enhance funding opportunities and relationship management
You will be an excellent communicator who enjoys being part of a results driven team, an enthusiastic and motivated leader with the ability to inspire others as well as being sensitive to the needs of supporters, patients, their families and carers.
