Position Summary:
The applicant should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work successfully in a fast-paced and busy development.

The applicant should be as a minimum degree qualified or equivalent in electronics or a relevant subject, with a good general education. The applicant should be familiar with a variety of development tools, with the ability to code on at least two different 32-bit microcontroller families, apply Linux on embedded systems, code in assembler and C/C++ as a minimum.

Must have:
Experience developing and supporting real-time embedded systems in a Linux environment
Excellent knowledge of C, C++ language programming on Embedded Linux system
Experience developing embedded Linux systems using community tools
Familiarity with the Linux kernel. Linux device driver or core kernel development
Some understanding hardware/embedded system designs
Understanding of distributed systems and data structures, both in design and implementation
Linux Inter-Process Communications (shared memory, semaphore, FIFO)
Software Configuration Management with SVN

Nice to have
Experience with user interface development toolkits like Qt, GTK within an embedded platform
Experience with more specific ARM Core processors
Experience in device drivers, networking stacks.

ISO9001 Quality Practices

Qualification
DEGREE/HND in a relevant or closely related subject plus minimum 5 years' in software development environment.
