Continuous Improvement Manager
We currently have a new vacancy for a CI Manager reporting into the Head of Operations on site . The role is responsible for working with the management team to establish and implement a continuous improvement plan and culture across the site.
Main Responsibilities
Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/ business and assembly issues, material flow, project plans, production capacity, facility design and create process documentation
Facilitate the development and scope of a factory-wide plan to implement a CI structured method approach to new projects, process issues, problem solving and developing and delivering new technologies.
Co-ordinate the training and upskilling of employees to support the CI programme and lead and mentor project groups to deliver improvements and cost savings
Develop measures to visually illustrate the work and success of the CI programme
Introduction of CI techniques and methodologies across the business
Achieve a business culture of CI and overcome barriers to change management
Identify and participate in key projects across the business while providing management with regular project reviews and delivery of solutions
Qualifications & Experience Required
Management experience in chilled food manufacturing
Previous, demonstrable experience within a similar Continuous Improvement capacity, ideally gained from within a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment
Project management skills (Prince 2 qualification ideally)
Graduate calibre with a lean/six sigma qualification (Desirable)
Exceptional communicator
Influential and persuasive character
