A great role has arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join a growing and innovative company who continues to invest in its employees. This client is offering a competitive salary range and an excellent benefits package.
Working hours/days
Monday – Friday
8.45am-5.30pm
Salary/package
£20,000-325,000 depending on experience, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, private health and travel insurance, flexi working time, cycle to work scheme, pension and fun company events.
The ideal candidate will work as part of the accounts team and will be responsible for the administration of payroll, HR systems and employee benefits.
Main responsibilities of the role:
Administration of Company auto enrolment pension scheme
Administration of Company PMI scheme
Administration of Company PHI scheme
Administration of Company Death in service benefit
Administration of staff sickness
Administration of staff holidays
Administration of new staff ensuring all necessary documentation is received for payroll
Ensure payroll time sheets are completed accurately and approved by management
Prepare the monthly payroll and arrange submission to payroll bureau
Preparation of journals
To refer to a manager when any work falls outside their area of knowledge or expertise
You will be methodical, able to prioritise, motivated and a good communicator. Excellent attention to details is essential as well as a good understanding of nominal ledge accounting.
You will be competent in Microsoft Office, Sage, sage Payroll, and Sage HR
