Legacy Marketing Officer
MAF UK are looking for a Legacy Marketing Officer to join the Legacy Marketing team.
MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) is a dynamic Christian aviation charity, operating 130 light aircraft in around 25 developing countries. Soaring over deserts, jungles and mountains, we bring help to some of the most isolated communities on earth. In the UK, MAF is a registered charity funded by voluntary donations which help finance the work of MAF worldwide.
Reporting to the Legacy Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for legacy promotion and marketing across a range of platforms including mailings, magazine articles, digital media, events, working with Volunteers and the development and implementation of the In Memory and Tribute Fund work.
Key responsibilities:
• To assist in the research, creation and implementation of MAF’s Legacy Marketing Strategy
• To conduct database analysis to enable targeted fundraising plans and campaigns
• To design, create and develop the digital promotion of legacy fundraising via email, video, social media and website channels
• To assist with equipping the volunteer team in communicating a confident legacy fundraising message
• To assist with the planning and implementation of legacy fundraising events, including attendance at the event as part of the home team.
• To assist with the development, implementation and day to day operation of the In Memory and Tribute Fund program
• To attend key events in the legacy and in memory fundraising sector in order to further grow and develop our approach to fundraising in this area.
Required skills and experience:
• A pro-active, forward thinking individual with excellent planning and project management skills
• A flexible, adaptable problem solver with effective communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
• Proven administration skills with strong attention to detail, experience of working in a team and independently as needed
• A confident user of social media, web development software, databases and Microsoft Office applications
Benefits:
• £22,000 per annum
• non-contributory pension scheme for staff of 10% of salary
• 22 days annual leave per year plus public holidays plus the days between Christmas and New Year when the office is closed
