You can drive one of our company-owned vehicles, or you can provide your own licenced vehicle (which must meet our high standards and be regularly inspected).

The first step is to send us a short cover letter detailing your experience and background. If we like what we see, we can progress to a meeting where we will explain everything about the industry, the way we work and the things you need to do if you want to work with us. We want you to be well-informed so you can make the right decision – we like people to stay with us for a long time!

Minimum Entry Requirements:

- You must have held a UK or European Driving Licence for at least 12 months. We would prefer a clean licence but will discuss individual cases (serious convictions mean you are unlikely to be granted a Private Hire Licence).
- You must be over the age of 21 on the date of your induction. This is for insurance purposes. If you are under 21, you are welcome to complete all other steps but will not be able to start driving until your 21st birthday.
- You must obtain a Private Hire Drivers Licence from Canterbury City Council. We can talk you through this, as it is quite a simple process, but you must be prepared to fund it yourself. The overall cost is somewhere around £300.00
