Position: Bookkeeper

Type: Permanent, full time
We are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join our client, an established financial company near Ashford.
Reporting into the Department Manager, the successful candidate will join the Business Services team and be involved in all related bookkeeping activity; communicating with clients and working to specific deadlines.
This varied role includes:
• Monthly and quarterly bookkeeper duties
• VAT returns and CIS Returns for a variety of clients
• You will be managing your own portfolio and will need to be organised to meet with the HMRC filing deadline for clients
The successful candidate will have:
• Prior bookkeeping experience or Purchase/Sales Ledger Clerk experience
• Experience using SageOne, Sage Line 50, Xero, Quickbooks, Iris etc
• Bookkeeper experience within the financial sector would be advantageous
• Work to tight strict deadlines
• You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and IT skills and have the ability to develop good working relationships both within and external client contacts.
This role is a full time. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
