From April 2017, over 1.2 million eligible businesses and other non-household customers in England will be able to choose their supplier of water and wastewater retail services.
South East Water Choice will be an active participant in the competitive market and are currently seeking a self-motivated, committed and organised individual to deliver a growth in revenue from existing customers and generate new business opportunities.
To succeed in this telephone based role, the post holder must remain professional at all times, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate positively and effectively with staff and customers. Although training and support will be provided, the post holder will take responsibility for their own personal performance and take all reasonable steps to meet targets on a consistent basis.
Main responsibilities:
•To make outbound cold calls to businesses (existing & new) to identify the decision maker and deliver company proposition in a compelling, accurate and professional manner.
•To respond appropriately to all customer questions and queries.
•To secure fixed term contracts from businesses for the supply of water and waste water services, and where appropriate to sell additional products and services.
•To ensure that only targeted businesses are retained or acquired and that all necessary information is captured and recorded accurately.
•To complete the customer contract / sign up process in an accurate and timely manner.
•To make appointments for Key Account Managers (existing customers) and Business Development Managers (new / potential customers)
•Identify and respond to potential losses by proactively contacting customer or escalating to Key Account team, Business Development team or senior management
Candidates must possess:
•A minimum of 6 months experience in an outbound telesales role.
•Proven track record in consistently exceeding targets
•Outgoing personality with a can do attitude
