Our prestigious Client requires an experienced Senior Legal Cashier for their office in Gravesend.
Successful candidates must have the following experience:
• Finance/accounts experience within a law firm.
• Payroll
• Legal aid
• Knowledge of Sage accounts
• Knowledgeable of Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and VAT Regulations
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Overseeing credit control
• Bank reconciliations
• Legal Aid enquiries and billing
• Sales and purchase ledgers
• Using BACs and Chaps
• Monthly compliance reports
The successful candidate must have excellent computer literacy and able to work under own initiative. Suitable candidates should also possess the ability to communicate at all levels and have an excellent manner and smart appearance. Candidates must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
A full driving licence and own transport is essential as some travel between offices (Gravesend and Maidstone) will be required.
Working Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm
