We are looking for reliable, experienced, professional individuals who can use their knowledge of the care sector to help support and develop both care staff and the company.
Estimated earnings in excess of £20,000 per year
You will be joining an independent family owned and operated company based in Aylesford. We are one of only 19 Home Care Agencies in Kent to hold an official contract with Kent County Council. We provide services for people of all ages and with varying needs of Care and Support.
Able to work alternate weekends, early mornings and evenings, with NVQ 3 or a minimum NVQ 2 in care, with the understanding that you will undertake a NVQ3.
Must be motivated and able to work under pressure.
You will provide the on-call/out of hours’ service on a rota basis. This is paid at £145-00 per week in addition to your hourly rate of pay. Any work covered whilst on call is paid separate to your on-call money.
You will assist the management in carrying out spot checks, client assessments and client reviews.
Must be able to drive with the use of own car and a mobile phone.
- Guaranteed Hours and Fixed shifts available.
- Must be able to work alternate weekends or a Saturday or Sunday each week.
- Work on a "long day" 3 days on 3 days off on a rolling rota
- Wages start at £8.50 P/H after probationary period with NVQ3 (must have certificate)
- Wages start at £8.25 P/H if you hold a QCF/NVQ2 (must have certificate)
- Enhanced pay for unsocial hours Monday to Friday
- Additional pay for Saturday social and unsocial hours
- Additional pay for Sunday social and unsocial hours
- Mileage payments plus increase per mile if you pick up a non driver
- Fortnightly pay
- 28 days paid holiday, pro-rata (all holiday pay based on actual hours worked in the previous 12 weeks)
- Pension Scheme
- All uniforms and other protective items supplied
- Continued in house training provided and an opportunity to take advanced NCFE life-time training certificates in various aspects of care.
- Employment subject to Proof of Eligibility to Work in the UK, Enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
