FULL TIME KITCHEN PORTER
£15,678 + BENEFITS
Role Purpose
To assist and support the kitchen team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness in accordance with the current Food Safety Policy.
To be responsible for the cleaning of the kitchen, kitchen/service equipment and associated areas to the agreed standards.
Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible and routine cleaning is completed to schedule.
Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
Unload food and equipment deliveries.
Keep the storerooms organised and manage stock rotation
Key Skills and Knowledge:
Must be able to work flexible hours
Good verbal communication skills
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
Confident and professional approach
Previous experience as a kitchen porter in a similar establishment.
