Casual / Part-time - Event Crew

Looking for some extra work?

What do Event Crew do?
• Attend a variety of events such as weddings, parties, exhibitions and product promotions
• Deliver equipment all around the South East of England and London
• Set-up and demonstrate how to use fun foods and fun activity equipment
o Sumo wrestling suits
o Bar games
o Popcorn and candyfloss Machines
o Inflatables
o Garden games etc.
• Stay at events and operate machinery / cook and serve / referee - after training
o Rodeo Bulls
o Photo booths
o Casino tables
o Doughnut machines etc.
• Act as an ambassador for Leisure King and provide excellent customer service to clients and their guests

What kind of person are we looking for…(all are essential)
• A driver with a full driving licence – 1 years’ experience of driving and your own vehicle to get to and from our base
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing)
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Experience working in a customer service role
• Fit and healthy – heavy lifting involved
• Friendly and positive – nobody likes a grump at their party!
• Confident and assertive – most shifts involve working independently and so you must be confident talking to clients, venues and security personnel at events
• Calm and relaxed – act quickly and decisively when issues arise
