Location - Maidstone

Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + Excellent benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Design Engineer to join a well-established company focused on various fields in the Engineering Industry.

Our Client prides themselves on their customer care and their support and training that they provide to new staff, so this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to broaden their experience in this exciting new role.



About the Design Engineer

You will be working in a small team to design, build, install and commission control systems for a large variety of industries.



As the successful Design Engineer you will:

* Liaise with clients to understand their specific need and assist with concept Design if needed * Produce detailed quotations

* Produce system drawings

* Specify instruments and other panel components

* Order the required equipment

* Produce factory and site acceptance test protocol documents

* Write and install PLC and HMI software

* Factory test with / without client

* Loop check on site and commission

* Produce final documentation



To be the successful Design Engineer you must have gained experience with PLC software development, control system Design and Control system commissioning / loop checking.

It is also advantageous to have gained experience with Allen Bradley and or Mitsubishi Software and Control Panel Design.

Experience within the pharmaceutical or generator fields and ATEX area Design knowledge would also be an advantage
