ID&C is an established award winning business based in Tunbridge Wells that supplies wristbands and accreditation to some of the world’s largest music festivals and sporting events. We have been privately owned and family run for over 20 years and hold a number of exclusive patents on products in the UK and across the globe.

ID&C is expanding, having recently opened an office in Florida in the USA, and an opportunity has arisen to join our expanding, UK-based group finance team.

The Role:

As Accounts Administrator you will report to the Head of Finance and be responsible for credit control and supporting the sales team in reviewing and processing orders. This role requires an enthusiastic, hands-on individual who can demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills.
You must have at least 2 years’ experience within an Accounts role.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30

Summary:

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful applicant will be organised, enthusiastic and display exceptional communication skills.

The ability to prioritise is essential, as is being a team player with excellent people skills, and the flexibility to work in a varied and demanding role.

Under the direction of the Head of Finance the Accounts Administrator will be responsible in providing the following:-

Responsibilities:

• Credit checking.
• Supporting the Sales team in dealing with account/order queries.
• Credit Control. Monitoring slow paying customers and collecting aged balances.
• Processing sales payments.
• Issuing Customer Statements
• Processing and checking supplier invoices.
• Managing office purchases
• Generating and reviewing system reports.
• Updating data for internal financial reports.
• Verifying the completeness and accuracy of documentation.
• Assisting with ad-hoc accounting duties.

Position Requirements:

• A professional, flexible, proactive and enthusiastic approach to work with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to work effectively with non-finance managers, colleagues and external parties.
• Ability to work autonomously and also within a team, as well as being able to use one`s initiative.
• Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Have a willingness to learn and possess a proactive forward thinking approach.
• Be honest, reliable and trustworthy.
• Strong analytical and numeric skills.
• Intermediate level use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential.

Other Preferred Attributes:

• Experience of working in a busy finance function.
• Experience of debt collection would be highly advantageous.
• Experience in using Sage Financial Systems would be a distinct advantage.
