A fantastic opportunity for a Technical Customer Service Executive to join a family run business established in the early 1990's, based in Sidcup, Kent. Specialising in construction consumables and specialist equipment, they are experiencing a fantastic period of growth and are looking for professional, pro-active and personable Customer Sales person to join the Customer Services team, with the opportunity to grow within the business into a managerial position.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual who thrives under pressure and interacts well with both customers and internal team members.

Responsibilities:
*Provide excellent technical customer service and support to customers, answering telephone queries relating to company products
*Site visits to demonstrate products if necessary.
*Sourcing non-stock products for customers when applicable
*Liaising with customers to offer them the best product solutions for their application.
*Up-selling and spotting opportunities for the proactive sales team to follow up.
*Processing orders that come in via telephone, email or web.
*Quoting customers over the phone/email, follow up and negotiation

Key Skills:
*Excellent technical knowledge to be able to demonstrate during site visits.
*Ability to answer technical questions on the product range.
*Be academically able to learn and retain large amounts of information as my client have a large product range.
*To confident in recommending the best fixing or tool for an application
*Be fantastic on the phone, personable, charming with excellent communication skills
*Have a desire to work in a smaller family business where any difference you make is clearly definable and recognised.
*Carpentry or Building Trade knowledge essential.
