The role reports into the Client Services Director.
This role has become available due to the current Senior Account Manager relocating end of January.
We are looking for a confident, persuasive Key Account Manager who has a strong, professional demeanour and a proven ability to create, maintain and enhance client relationships. As a highly driven individual, you will have significant impact on the overall value and future success of the business.
Effective communication skills and a flexible approach to work are essential to this role as well as delivering a first class professional and high quality service on behalf of all clients.
Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing a portfolio of large, key clients and for delivering client-focused solutions based on client needs. Manage numerous clients at different stages of the customer lifecycle with ease
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, account management and lead generation
• Responsible for the on-boarding of clients
• Writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients - having identified growth opportunities
• Able to implement new products and services and have the ability to project manage
• Target driven - the role requires year on year growth
• To ensure statistical information is produced, collated and analysed
• Have the ability to network with clients and communicate via all channels, meetings, events, focus groups. Function as the voice of the customer and provide internal feedback on how the business can better serve its clients
The Ideal Candidate:
• Strong, consultative sales skills
• 3+ years proven track record in account management
• Display good financial dexterity
• Have a highly quantitative approach to understanding, measuring, forecasting customer behaviour and revenue
• Persistent and determined with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with CRM, software applications
• Wants to maximise brand exposure
