Our client is a looking for a Technical Support Engineer, and they are a UK leading proprietary Gaming Technology Development company. You will be part of a small team of people making sure that systems and sites are optimised to full potential and achieving max uptime.

This is a hands on flexible role requiring on site and remote support - communicating with clients and interfacing with the company's second line tech support team to solve system and site issues. Your time will be split between the office in Old Street EC1 and home, roughly 50/50, on a flexible rota basis to give 24/7 coverage.

Key technical skills required:
*Familiar with linux systems
*Knowledge on Bash scripting
*Ideally knowledge of Java applications as well as SQL basics

Ideal candidates will most likely be recent graduates with computing related degrees although people with hands on experience and the necessary qualifications are also urged to apply.

Excellent communication skills are essential as well as an analytical mind set, in order to solve issues quickly and efficiently. Other duties include testing and checking web sites (desk and mobile) in order to identify potential user experience problems.
