Open to one individual on full time basis or two exisiting friends who wish to job share.

Grestec supports and technically advises architects and interior designers for their tiling requirements on commercial projects. Once a specification has been issued with Grestec products listed, a product sales process ensues which requires monitoring, processing, importing and distribution.
A key role for a Operations administrator has become vacant. We always look for someone to be a tangible asset within the organisation. This is a junior role but there are always opportunities which can be offered for individuals that show interest, flair and a dynamic approach to work-life on a long term basis.

Main duties:
• Answering the main office telephones and passing calls to the relevant individuals
• Raising transportation notification purchase orders for imports and emailing them to the relevant transport companies
• Liaising with import transport companies throughout the week regarding anticipated delivery dates
• Updating company calendar with delivery date information
• Booking in goods - checking inbound documents for goods received and inputting onto the stock system ready for customer despatch
• Meeting deadlines for workflow requirements
• Product code and price checking
• Input manifest information onto purchase orders
• Document checking
• Input customer despatches onto Palletline network software to book onto daily collection vehicle
• Collating seasonal information from suppliers regarding shutdowns
• Data entry of product slip rating information
• Data entry for customer sample requests on CRM system which generates sales leads for Area Sales Managers.

Holiday coverage:
• Every week you will take on one key element of purchasing duties. This will rotate in 4 week groups to gain knowledge for key elements of Purchasing.
• Anticipated learning examples: Week One - order processing to suppliers; Week Two - supplier stock checks; Week Three - project registrations/product reservations; Week Four – Environmental documentation. Repeat cycle of learning. This list is anticipated and can alter dependent on individual learning requirements.
