Here at Worldstores, our 7.5t drivers are our front line of communications with our customers and we understand that their role is both crucial and integral to the success of our business. To that end, we are on the lookout for professional 7.5t (Cat C1) drivers that want to join a dedicated customer service team, who care about making a real difference to a customer’s delivery experience.

In order to achieve this our 7.5t delivery drivers work within a 2 man team, delivering and collecting home and garden furniture throughout the day. We deliver from Monday through to Saturday so you will be expected to work a flexible pattern of 5 shifts within those 6 operating days. Start times are usually around 6-7am although there are some dedicated routes that may require earlier starts. Due to the nature of our goods, heavy lifting will be involved so you will need to be physically fit in order to load the 7.5t vehicles in the morning and then load / unload the goods depending on a delivery or collection throughout the day. In line with our customer service excellence you will be expected to complete telephone calls to the customer, giving estimated delivery times. You will also be expected to offer a room of choice delivery service at the door step.

Requirements
• Experience of working within a customer service focused environment
• Polite telephone manner
• Understand that this is multi-drop delivery and collection role
• Full understanding of working time regulations
• Good driving record with insurers
• Physically fit and able to handle large items for delivery
• 2 years driving experience minimum
• Maximum of 3 points
• Good written and verbal English to communicate with customers and paperwork compliance

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
• Category C1 (7.5t)
• Digital tachograph
• Driver CPC
