Community Care Support Workers required to deliver respite service to Carers in their own homes, in all areas across Kent and Medway.

Carers FIRST are currently seeking to appoint support workers to join our existing team who provide respite support to carers in their own homes and, care for the person with care needs to enable the carer to have a break. We deliver a holistic practical and personal support service to our carers/clients including children and older people with a range of needs. The visits we provide are for a minimum of 1 hour, but generally are between 2 - 4 hours. Our focus is person centred providing a service that meets the need and the requirements to support the main carer and the cared for person. This may include support with personal care, keeping someone company and safe in the home or taking the person out.

You will need to be caring, flexible, and reliable and have a range of skills and knowledge with a passion to deliver quality services.
To be considered for these posts candidates will need to hold or be willing to train for the NVQ2/3 in social care, previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
You will need to be a car driver with an up to date licence.
