FIELD CARE SUPERVISOR

37 hours per week, salary £20,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Kent Home Care & Support service. We are looking to recruit a Field Care Supervisor to support the Kent Branch based at our Head Office, Faversham. An interesting and varied job role with a key focus on ensuring our services are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well lead. As part of the role you will be required to undertake care and support planning with service users, complete risk assessments and timely reviews working in partnership with other professionals to ensure we meet the needs of those we support. Therefore you must have excellent communications skills both verbal and written with the ability to work under pressure and deal calmly and professionally with all enquiries.

You will also provide the day to day supervision and set key performance indicators for our Field Care Officer and Senior Care Workers within the community. The majority of the working week is spent in the field so a full driving licence and access to a car is essential as well as the ability to be flexible, and work with limited supervision. The remaining time will be office based to complete administrative duties.

Essential Experience requirements for the role are as follows:

• Diploma minimum Level 3 (or equivalent) in Care with intention of obtaining Diploma Level 4/5.
• Understanding and ability to support the service to remain compliant with CQC and Commissioner requirements
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience in the care sector
• Sound knowledge of adult social care including experience of undertaking care planning, risk assessments and reviews
• Previous supervisory experience
