W.E Roberts is offering the exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for IT to join our leading corrugated cardboard manufacturing firm based in Northfleet, Gravesend.
No previous experience is required, however good problem solving and troubleshooting skills with a self-motivated ‘can do’ attitude is essential.
As an Entry Level IT Administrator, you’ll be joining a team to assist with the following:
• Providing first line support for our internal user base, on site at our head office in Northfleet and remotely for 2 sister sites;
• Completing routine systems administration and maintenance tasks;
• Working alongside the team on hardware and software, installation and upgrades;
• Support of in-house developed software packages primarily using Microsoft Access/VBA;
• Any other duties required for the efficient running of the IT Department.
Key requirements:
• Background in IT with a ICT/Computing or vendor specific qualification.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Software packages (Win XP to 10 and Microsoft Office 2010 to 16).
• Good troubleshooting, communication skills with a methodical mind-set.
• Ability to grasp new skills and concepts quickly, with a willingness to learn and desire to develop yourself potentially with the view to take the CompTIA A+ Certification.
