Barker Munro Finance are pleased to be representing this globally renowned family owned business in their search for two trainee accountants to join the team during an exciting period of growth.

The main purpose of the role is to support the financial accountant and commercial accountant with various accounting duties including a mix of the following:

To assist in the month end close process for the costing modules and material ledger in SAP
To assist in the production of the annual plan and quarterly forecasts.
To assist in the production of weekly and monthly reports
To assist in the calculation and issue of customer rebates, claim backs, price support and other discounts that may be offered to direct or indirect customers on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis
Provide support and detail to analysis and forecasting process including: nominal account analysis, project cost analysis, special repair analysis on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Under direction of Financial Accountant prepare and record all re-chargables, re- billables and miscellaneous invoices.
Under direction of Financial Accountant challenge accounting treatment and policy adherence of transactions analysed.
To provide treasury support to Financial Accountant including: cover for day to day banking operations for the UK and Irish branches and any other business administered by the finance team
The successful candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

Good understanding of financial principles, preferably looking to train in a recognised accounting qualification.
Familiarity with business accounting software.
Good education with excellent grade in relevant subjects
High interpersonal effectiveness to develop and sustain robust relationships with external suppliers and internal contact
